Industrial Designer | MedTech Entrepreneur | Turning Clinical Problems into Market-Ready Healthcare Products | 10+ Launches | Patent Holder
I am a healthcare-focused Industrial Designer and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in designing, developing, and scaling medical devices from concept to commercialization. As the Founder and CEO of Heamac Healthcare, I specialize in building impactful neonatal and maternal care solutions that address real-world clinical challenges.
My journey began with a strong foundation in product and industrial design from the MIT Institute of Design, followed by hands-on experience working with leading medical device companies. Over the years, I have led the development of multiple biomedical products—from early-stage sketches and prototypes to fully market-ready devices—many of which are actively used in hospitals today.
In 2018, after completing my BioDesign Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, I founded Heamac Healthcare with a mission to improve neonatal outcomes through innovation. Since then, I have been leading the company’s vision, product development, and global expansion efforts.
My work is centered around:
Designing clinically relevant, user-centric medical devices
Building scalable healthcare innovations from scratch
Bridging engineering, design, and regulatory pathways
Driving research-backed solutions in neonatal care
Through Heamac, we have developed advanced phototherapy systems and non-invasive diagnostic solutions, gaining strong traction from hospitals, clinicians, and global healthcare stakeholders. Our innovations have been recognized through multiple grants, awards, and early adoption across healthcare institutions.
With 12+ years of experience, multiple patents (granted and pending), and international recognition, I continue to focus on building next-generation healthcare technologies that are accessible, effective, and globally scalable.
